WY2016 Storm 48


Hello, fellow southwest US weather nuts! Storm 48 is a minor storm for California, and a slightly-barely storm of significance in the Pacific Northwest, warranting a winter weather advisory for the Cascades. In the OR Coast Range, isolated heavy snow showers have been reported.


Ocean Prediction Center – Eastern Pacific

Storm activity expected and being experienced today:
Washington and Oregon: rain, mountain snow, ocean gale
NorCal: strong winds, light rain and enough snow to MAYBE require chains in the N. Sierra.
