Storm 22

Storm 22 has rolled in this morning. This is a Pacific Northwester that’s quickly spread south into northern California, bringing more rain to the most saturated section of the West Coast this January. Its clouds have spread down to us here in Fresno, causing everyone to go “darn, thought it was going to be a sunny day!” Last night, the sky was clear and we all woke up to frost.

The last two weeks have seen huge precipitation totals in Northern and Southern California., with Central California and the central coast getting nothing to sneeze at.

To see water accumulation analysis based on reams of daily gathered data like in this picture go to, click on the tabs Water, Precipitation and Images and select the current data radio button for current data or see how much rain fell in the past from yesterday on back by selecting either of the archive buttons.
