Welcome, Storm #16!

Strange – there was some rain on this day. Analysis for this day shows none.

At last! A real winter storm. In this picture, the first raining clouds are 40 minutes of time from Fresno, just hitting the central coast Coast Range. Outside now is a drenching rainfall that indeed arrived that will continue for hours. Settle in, light a candle, and listen to the rain fall.

Big news for the mountains. By next Sunday, perhaps 10 feet of snow may have fallen on places like Tamarack Ridge, near Sierra Summit Ski Area.
Hey, Keith (my facebook friend from high school who works at Sierra Summit), I can’t wait to see your pictures of the snow storm!
