India, March and November 2005

India, March and November 2005, originally uploaded by niiicedave.

This photo I took of a nice, big Python on this low hanging branch in Keoladeo National Park in India in 2005 is part of the Flickr photo pool “Tree Snakes” http://www.flickr.com/groups/636742@N21/pool/ The Park is a UN World Heritage Site and favorite outing whenever we are in India. The Dahbas on the other side of the highway serve excellent food, too. As always, in India, you can’t eat cold foods, only cooked foods due the the usually high amount of malicious bacteria (like meningitis) on everything. A combination of open sewage and heavy use of animals, I figure. We use handy wipes and they work great.
